Rambling Vines - Tambour Embroidery

Many cultures throughout the world have a traditional variation of tambour embroidery, and the design and techniques used in this cushion are drawn from a number of those styles.  

The rambling vines are quick to stitch with a tambour hook, and the flowers are richly embossed with glossy beads, adding to the texture and luxury of the finished cushion.

This kit includes black threads and beads, tambour handle and three hooks (0.8, 1.0, and 1.2mm) along with comprehensive instructions, but the kit DOES NOT include the fabric, allowing the stitcher to fashion a cushion in the colour of their choice. Recommended fabrics are handkerchief linen or similar: a smooth, firmly woven fabric, cotton or linen.
