Ukrainian Whitework - Cushion #3

This design features one of the techniques prominent in traditional Ukrainian whitework: Nabyruvannya (brick stitch). The central band features a stepped trail of brick stitch, the lustre of the pearl thread catching the light and the eye. The main design bordered top and bottom with a narrower bands including brick stitch and satin stitch designs.

The design is continuous and could be continued into a longer project such as a runner or tablecloth.
