Mystical Mandala

A bit of sparkly fun, these mandala incorporate many of the materials used in traditional Indian embroidery used particularly on choli (bodices): glass jewels, small mirrors, vibrant metal threads and bright coloured fabrics.
Each mandala (Sanskrit for ‘circle’) starts with a brightly coloured felt base, then highlighted with many concentrically based patterns of embellishments, the repeating nature of the pattern a feature of mandala.

The kit provides all fabrics (backing, satin,  and felt), metal threads, mirrors, jewels, kundan, crystal/pearl chains, sewing threads and glue.
