Fruitful Harvest - Filet di Bosa Mat

Filet di Bosa, a style of filet embroidery from the Bosa region of Sardinia is characterised by the use of needle-weaving as the predominant filling stitch and the heavy use of running trails and vines that 'cut-the-corner' producing smoother, softer and more natural curves. 

Pomegranates are a popular motif in this style of embroidery, and feature in the Fruitful Harvest mat.  This design includes the pomegranate flow as a centre highlight, surrounded by a profusion of fruit.

The kit for this  mat includes the net fabric, threads, weaving needle, and comprehensive instructions with a multitude of diagrams.
