Hishi-zashi Hussif / Clutch Purse - Pattern Darning

This simple yet elegant project features pattern darning and construction of a hard-cased metal-framed purse. The inner can either be fashioned as a hussif to carry your essential needlecraft supplies or as a clutch purse with optional shoulder chain, for a stylish accessory.

The hussif has space to store threads, a foldaway needlecase, reinforced scissor case, and pockets for other essentials such as pen / notebook, tapes and tools.

The clutch purse has two inner pockets to hold items such as credit, business or identity cards and plenty of space for those essentials for your night out.

This product is NO LONGER AVAILABLE AS A KIT (due to postage costs), but you can purchase the instructions as a digital downloadable booklet. 

The pattern has been designed to be used with an 8” x 4¾” Clamshell Minaudiere Clutch Frame, you may need to adjust the pattern if your frame is a different size, or differing corner shape (more rounded).

Skill Level: Suitable for beginner stitchers; Construction is detailed.
