Ukrainian Whitework - Cushion #2

This project incorporates several techniques seen in traditional Ukrainian whitework; Bands and ground patterns, with an emphasis on Nabyruvannya (brick stitch) and Nastyluvannya (satin stitch).

The Nabyruvannya border encloses a framework of diamonds and stars, framing the thirteen motifs. Each motif is different, choose as many or as few as you wish to make your design unique to you.
