Carnaval de Flores - Alagoas Embroidery Kit

In the style of the filet embroidery from the Alagoas region of Brazil, this project introduces filet embroidery in bright colours and at a larger scale.  Stitched in variegated thread on coloured mesh, the bright embroideries of this region are used on a wide variety of products from fashion clothing, curtains, household linens and more.

Carnaval de Flores is an opportunity to run free with colour and explore a sampler of basic stitches.

This kit is for a sampler of beginner stitches and techniques, and includes the net fabric, threads, weaving needle, and comprehensive instructions with a multitude of diagrams, BUT does not include construction instructions - you can make your sampler into any project you desire - see two examples in the photographs.
